Version 0.1.2 - Checkpoints + Radio


Hello! It is I, NotNokin, and I've returned with the second update of Drop Dead which brings the first in-game event — CHECKPOINTS — along a new map, map reworks, and radio.

  • The checkpoint event is the in-run store where you can buy upgrades and soon-to-be abilities. It has a 20% chance to happen but will always occur on the 6th day (The day after the Blood Moon event once added). On the left are Pillbox Upgrades. This can always be bought and are general stats like Health, Stamina, and Speed. The other three upgrades are randomly selected and provide greater effects at a higher cost, although there are only five of these at the moment.
  • The new map is a large outside area with a gas station near the middle. On the right side is a road and supplies can spawn all over the map.
  • I've added  boxes and box piles which work basically the same as the pits and shelves but adds more variety. Soon there will be an upgrade that will effect how obstacles like those are used... 
  • The radio is present in the caravan menu and will notify you of events that are about to occur or other important information. You will find it in the bottom left.

  • Longer Runs
    • Be able to go to another city after reaching your current. Unlocks new maps + enemies.
  • Art for Placeholders
    • Player, enemies, checkpoint, radio, etc.
