Version 0.1.1 - Map + Story
Hello! It is I, NotNokin, and I come to you wish a minor update that I wanted to add before the game jam deadline but couldn't last minute. It includes a new map, intro scene, and win screen.
New Map
This map has two big rooms and the left and right side, and outside of it is a massive outdoors area filled with holes and walls to use . I plan to add more obstacles inside of the rooms and outdoors.
Intro Scene
Gives some context to what is going on. Will change later and will lead into the main base instead of just jumping straight into a game.
Win Screen
In the last version there was no win screen once you reached Zero Miles, so now a screen displaying your supply amount and how much money you've gained will pop up along with a replay button. Money for now is useless but can be used later on to upgrade your base (Permanent upgrades, new modes, cosmetics, etc)
What I plan soon
- Checkpoints
- Lets you sell supplies mid run to earn new upgrades an abilities.
- Events
- Random events during the caravan or night. An example is the Blood Moon which will happen every 5th day. This night will be much more dangerous but will offer more loot, or even a chance to get a special corpse?
- Base
- Your main base where you work as a courier. Lore and other things will be here. The two starting modes that will be here are Easy and Normal, with others either being earnt or bought later on. Hard mode will be unlocked after beating Normal, Perma Blood can be bought, etc.
Files
Drop Dead
Play as a supply courier that uses decaying corpses to deliver your goods.
